Welcome to…well…whatever this is.

Well hello there, dear friend.

I’m Lily Amanda Flynn. Call me whatever you’d like as long as it will make me smile.

I’m currently a senior at Kent State University looking to graduate next December 2014. I’m majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Political Science. My favorite things about my major and the reasons I decided on it are because I love public speaking and communication in general. I love detail-oriented work and anything that involves working on a strict schedule. I like to think I am disciplined in that area of my life. I also have a passion for event planning and anything that allows me to plan at all. 🙂

I currently reside in Kent, OH, but there’s a definite possibility I will move to Cleveland this summer. I love to travel, but ideally would love to stay in the area once I finish my undergraduate degree. Additionally, I would love to enroll in Kent State’s PR Masters program.

I serve at Steak’n Shake, which is not the most glamorous job. I wear a bow tie, an apron, and skid-resistant shoes. Oh yeah, super attractive! I aspire to work for a hospital or some other form of non-profit, live in the suburbs, and drive around in my pretty yellow Camaro. As for now, I’m a baller on a budget. Thanks Daniel Tosh. ❤

I absolutely love music, photography, writing, singing, playing The Sims, reading, watching HGTV and the Food Network, and so many other things. I like to pretend I’m the next Iron Chef or Chopped Champion or redecorate my apartment like The Property Brothers would. I can spend hours searching for houses I can never afford in places I’ll never live, but it’s all in good fun. My biggest pet peeve is a blank wall. I blame this trait on my mother who religiously puts out 15 fully decorated 7+ ft Christmas trees every year.

You will discover quickly that I am extremely competitive. Always have been, always will be. It comes from growing up with a brother who beats you in everything sports-related. I have always loved sports, mostly basketball and baseball and mostly high school and college ball.

I’m kind of in love with coffee and anything coffee-related. My dorm rooms, sorority room, and the kitchen in my current apartment all had/have a coffee theme. I have a Keurig, and I love it to death. K-Cups are expensive though, man! Good thing there’s always Christmas! 😀 I also have an obsession with Dunkin’ Donuts. Good thing Kent finally wised-up and got one two minutes away. Yum yum!
